Bleacher Report – No. 13

At their lowest mark in these polls, Bleacher Report puts the Panthers at No. 13 before the games begin. However, their analyst did pick Carolina to win the division despite believing they aren’t the most talented of NFC South teams.

"Things don’t always go according to plan, and while the Panthers might not be the NFC South’s best team, they are good enough to win the division … there’s enough talent or the Panthers to be a factor—even in a stacked NFC South."

In the NFL every game counts after the preseason and the Panthers will need to take advantage of their divisional contests. At 3-3 last year, including two losses against New Orleans, if Carolina can improve their divisional record they should be able to win their division.
