Another player who earned time in the spotlight due to an unfortunate injury, Tyler Larsen has done everything he’s been asked by the Panthers. Filling in for veteran center Ryan Kalil, Larsen also played his way into consideration following injuries to both Kalil and Gino Gradkowski back during the 2016 season.

Last year, Larsen filled in for Kalil who suffered through a neck injury and may be his replacement once the Panthers current center retires. Playing along the interior of the offensive line, Larsen may be asked to shift over one position until a more permanent option is found.

Having already proved himself capable of playing at a high level in the NFL, should Mahon struggle, Larsen would be an answer already available on the roster.
