Wide receivers vs. Bills corners

The Carolina Panthers restacked their wide receiving corps in the offseason and now, we will get an early look at how they look.

In particular, the names I would watch out for are D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel. One is a rookie who is playing in his first professional action and the other is a third-year player coming back from injury. Including those two, one thing I would watch is how quickly the wideouts can get out of their breaks and how their timing with the quarterbacks are. It is the first game, and the offensive unit may have trouble getting in-sync at times. There may be a mixture of jitters and rust.

The Bills corners themselves are not exactly easy to play against either. They have been known to play physically and are not afraid to get in the faces of their receivers. Particularly with the first unit, the Carolina Panthers wideouts will have their hands full. Devin Funchess against Vontae Davis is a matchup I would look for during the first two series.

Either way, the individual chess matches that take place will be fun to watch. It will certainly give the fans an idea of where the wideouts are at.
