Lorenzo Doss

As has been mentioned. Doss had a tremendous training camp and he had a great game on Thursday. Finishing with five tackles Doss really showed Thursday that his stellar play was not just a fluke. If he continues to play at a high level like this, he will have a spot on the team come the opener.

Currently, he is fourth at the left cornerback spot per the most recent depth chart from OurLads.com. If he continues the level of play he showed last night, he will move up the depth chart in a hurry.

His nose for the football and willingness to be a part of every play did wonders for him in a game where defense took a backseat in some situations. Being lower on the depth chart, he really needed ot come out and make a great impression.  Hopefully, that is something that he can continue to build upon throughout the course of the preseason. In any event, he performed well and at least gave the coaches an opening look at his skillset.
