Carolina Panthers preseason game number two revealed some positive developments…

The Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins both continued their preseason preparations facing off against one another at Bank of America Stadium. As the season draws close, both teams got some significant work from their starters in addition to many key reserves and back ups receiving plenty of snaps.

Carolina continues their search for starters at left guard, cornerback and safety with some players taking steps to secure their potential future roles. At safety, Da’Norris Searcy suffered a concussion during the Dolphins second possession further testing the depth of the Carolina secondary. Expected to start alongside Mike Adams, the Panthers will continue their search for players who can consistently contribute on the back end of the defense.

Another game filled with highlights and few glaring areas for improvement, the play of the Panthers did offer the following revelations.
