Christian McCaffrey Impresses

Second year running back Christian McCaffrey enjoyed an impressive stint as many of the starters played well into the second quarter. In just nine touches, McCaffrey accumulated 120 all-purpose yards (92 rushing) aided by a 71 yard touchdown run on the Panthers second play of the game.

Expected to carry more of a workload for Carolina this season, McCaffrey appears up to the task. His dynamic playmaking capabilities and unique skill set create multiple options for use by new offensive coordinator Norv Turner.

Quarterback Cam Newton and McCaffrey appear to be developing a positive relationship in the Carolina backfield.
