The Carolina Panthers will be challenged this week…

The Carolina Panthers play the New England Patriots on Friday in what is the third game of preseason action. With this being the game customary that starters play the most, we should be able to see some great football as neither has lost a game to this point.

The Patriots are undefeated this preseason. With a new look offense that features mainstay Tom Brady, the Patriots are once again a force to be reckoned with. They will face a Carolina Panthers defense that looks to be at the top of the league and is a force in their own right. Combine that with several up and-coming players that have turned heads and the Panthers defense is very deep.

Without further ado, we take a look at three key matchups for the game Friday.
