Offensive Line

Matt Kalil, Ryan Kalil, Taylor Moton, Tyler Larsen, Trai Turner, Jeremiah Sirles, Greg Van Roten, Brendan Mahon, Blaine Clausell

The latest offensive line injury, to tackle Matt Kalil, leaves this position in disarray. Considered week to week, Kalil hopefully will be cleared for the season opener but if not, then the Panthers may look elsewhere to add some depth here either via pick up from another team, trade or free agent signing.

Guard Amini Silatolu is also expected back sooner rather than later after tearing his meniscus but the current projection leaves him off the initial 53-man roster. When he returns, someone is going to come off this list, depending on their performances until that point.

Rookie Brendan Mahon or journeyman Greg Van Roten are the likely candidates although it would be hard to see either going from a starting position to being removed from the active roster entirely.
