Carolina Panthers v Detroit Lions

Defensive Line

Julius Peppers, Kawann Short, Dontari Poe, Mario Addison, Wes Horton, Kyle Love, Vernon Butler, Marquis Haynes, Bryan Cox Jr.

Second year defensive lineman Daeshon Hall was drafted in the third round one year ago and played nine snaps in the opener at San Francisco before being placed on Injured Reserve for the season. Missing a majority of his rookie year, the former Texas A&M lineman was expected to really contribute this year.

However, it appears the play of Bryan Cox Jr. last season and rookie Marquis Haynes have pushed him out of consideration. Another position loaded with talent, the Panthers are expected to employ a rotation along their defensive front and any of these candidates seem capable of filling the role.
