Daeshon Hall

If there is one position that is loaded for the Carolina Panthers, it is at defensive end. On both the left and right side, there is talent to be had. Mario Addison and the speedy Marquis Haynes man the right defensive end position currently, leaving little room for Hall on the 53-man roster

He had two tackles in Friday’s big win against the New England Patriots. He recorded no tackles against the Miami Dolphins.

Coming into the preseason, Hall needed to really stand out to make the team anyway. This writer held out hope back in June that he may find a spot on the team.

To his credit, he put together a great college resume, but this is just proof that whatever you do in college may not aid your future in the National Football League. Hall could certainly find work with another team. He has the athleticism to make it in this league, and he could stay on with the team as a member of the practice squad. I really do not see any need that would warrant him staying on the 53-man roster.
