Daeshon Hall, DE

Carolina used a third round pick on Daeshon Hall in 2017 and after appearing on the opening week roster and playing versus San Francisco it appeared a bright future was ahead. Unfortunately, injuries sidelined his rookie season and despite returning healthy this preseason, he finds himself trapped in an extremely talented position.

Defensive end Julius Peppers can’t play forever so general manager Marty Hurney must plan for the future but with guys like Bryan Cox Jr. and Marquis Haynes performing at a high level, Hall may be the odd man out.

His performance and that of the other defensive ends against Pittsburgh will either make things easier or more difficult for the coaches.
