Kevon Seymour, CB

Unlike others referenced here competing for their jobs, cornerback Kevon Seymour has started NFL games. He’s been relied on by the Panthers in key games last year and began this season as the front-runner to start opposite James Bradberry in the secondary.

The emergence of rookie Donte Jackson coupled with solid play from Lorenzo Doss have squeezed Seymour out of the lead position. His experience may be enough for the coaches to consider keeping him on board but his play needs to improve.

After a bad outing in Buffalo and missing last week’s game, Seymour needs a solid performance against Pittsburgh (especially considering it will mainly come against non-starters) in order to continue in a Panthers uniform.
