Tight End: B+

Tight end hopefully receives a boost in production from last season by Greg Olsen simply being healthy for an entire year. If so, then there is no doubt either Chris Manhertz (when healthy) and Ian Thomas can handle any duties opposite him.

Should Olsen be sidelined, Thomas has shown enough during preseason play to contribute in the passing game but will need to improve his blocking in order to be the complete package that such a subtle position requires.

As Turner wants to develop pass patterns with options for helping Newton get rid of the ball quickly, expect any tight end to be extremely productive this season.
