Offensive Line: B

Decimated by injuries across the offensive line and anchored by a veteran captain in Ryan Kalil, whose preseason action was limited after being hurt in the past two seasons, this unit really performed better than expected.

The depth of this position really showed as no matter who filled in at what position, their performance rarely faltered. Granted, the offensive line never had to play a full game together or compete against an all first-team defense for any length of time but they didn’t stand out either.

Often the case, offensive line play is extremely noticeable when performing poorly and unnoticed when at the top of their game. There was more of the latter for the Panthers this preseason and it helped to ease some concern as more will be on the line when they next take the field.
