Defensive Line: A

The defensive front, linebackers included, have historically been a strong suit for Carolina, especially over the past five seasons. For many of those years, the linebackers have been in the spotlight, making plays albeit mainly because of the defensive line performance.

This season the tide could turn as the Panthers pass rush appears poised for a big year.

Regardless of who filled the positions for Carolina, the team was always getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Many times players would be just a fraction of second late, but these instances have the potential to be easily corrected.

The young players here also have an impressive amount of veteran leadership to learn from, helping to increase their ability to contribute in the future.
