Christian McCaffrey, RB

Nobody outside of the Panthers locker room knows exactly how Turner will utilize the unique skill set of Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey against Dallas but a few things are clear.

A) McCaffrey is set for an increase in carries over his rookie campaign.

B) The second year back can also contribute in the passing game.

C) Repeatedly, it appears as if McCaffrey is just inches away from breaking a big run.

All of these combine to make for an effective weapon against a defense that allowed an average of over 100-yards rushing to their opponents last season (104) and seven runs of 20-plus yards.

A new focus on shorter, timing routes and getting the ball out of Newton’s hand quickly could also benefit McCaffrey, who has the capability to turn a three-yard pass into a 70 yard score at any moment.
