The Carolina Panthers new logo made its to Twitter Friday.
This latest news should make Carolina Panthers fans excited for the opener Sunday. For the first time in franchise history, a midfield logo has taken center stage at Bank of America Stadium. Various images made their way into Twitter on Friday as the Carolina Panthers get ready to face the Dallas Cowboys.
Many who are reading this are probably thinking “What’s the big deal? It is just a midfield logo.” Well, when you have never had a team logo at midfield, it is a pretty big deal. The New York Jets and Giants are the only teams to have the NFL logo at midfield now.
When you stop and think about it, this is really cool. It truly represents a new era of Carolina Panthers football, and the logo truly pops off the field. The fact that it was introduced this year with this team makes it even more special. Loaded with depth on both side of the football, the 2018 Carolina Panthers have a lot of flash on their own. Of course it remains to be seen whether or not they will live up to the hype, but I would say there is a good chance that they do so.
With a fan experience already set to take place for the opener against the Dallas Cowboys, this truly is a new era for the Carolina Panthers under David Tepper. The logo is just the icing on the cake. Now, the logo will quite literally take center stage as the Carolina Panthers get ready to open 2018 in style.
It will be interesting to see what other improvements Tepper may make to the organization. He has already left his mark on the team in the short time he has been here. That is a very good thing. The organization certainly needed to turn the page and that is exactly what Tepper has done.
