Final Prediction

Cat Crave: Your prediction for the upcoming game and score?

More from Cat Crave

SM: Going into an opponent’s home and coming away with a victory in Week One is always an uphill battle. But the Cowboys running game translates well on the road. Combined with an improved defense, I believe Dallas has the tools to pull out an upset. Give me the Cowboys over the Panthers in a close one, 30-26.

Cat Crave predicted a 31-20 Panthers victory so both sites are projecting a high scoring affair with over 50-plus combined points scored. Neither team really knows what to expect from one another and possibly even themselves after enduring a preseason with limited action from those that will be relied upon on Sunday.

Regardless, it should be an entertaining affair and one Carolina is celebrating with a new midfield logo for the first time in history. Superstition is prevalent in sports and  if the Panthers don’t win in Week 1, requests for the return of an NFL shield logo may become a reality.
