Linebacker: A-

David Mayo started for the suspended Thomas Davis and Shaq Thompson appeared poised for a big season as the duo joined Luke Kuechly to combine for 23 tackles. Thompson had the second most on the team with nine, behind Kuechly (13), and recorded his first sack of the season bringing Prescott down for a seven yard loss.

Kuechly officially suffered a hyperextended knee and may be limited in practice this week ahead of NFC South divisional rival Atlanta. Able to return against the Cowboys, it is likely the Panthers star linebacker won’t miss any time.
