Christian McCaffrey

It is hard to believe that a player of Christian McCaffrey’s caliber would be third anywhere on a list. However, even in a low-scoring affair, he still managed to make a big impact in the victory.

He led all Carolina Panthers wideouts with six catches for 45 yards. A 14-yard catch was his longest of the afternoon. Targeted nine times overall, he was a major part of their passing game. On the ground, he rushed the ball 10 times for 50 yards, showing that he was a man of efficiency. Although he did not break any major runs, he paced the running attack quite nicely. In addition, he gave Cam Newton a security blanket on the receiving end.

It was nice to see him contribute in multiple ways. He has the ability to be a multi-faceted player. Now, he just needs to continue to build off the momentum from Sunday. If he can continue to put up numbers and have games with similar production results, he could be in for a huge season.
