The Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons highlight Week 2 with an early season divisional matchup.

The Carolina Panthers opened the David Tepper with a win on Sunday over the Dallas Cowboys at the expense injuries to a handful of players. Starting tight end Greg Olsen and right tackle Daryl Williams both exited and never returned to the game.

Eventually Olsen did come back to the sideline but he was dressed in street clothes, on crutches and had a walking boot over his surgically repaired right foot. The same one that caused him to miss a majority of last season.

Rookie tight end Ian Thomas will be expected to fill the void along with Chris Manhertz but a bigger question may be who replaces Williams. Amini Silatolu, himself recovering from a knee injury suffered during the preseason, was healthy enough for some action last week but didn’t start although he finished the game at tackle for Williams.
