Week 1: Carolina Panthers 16, Dallas Cowboys 8

The Carolina Panthers defense dominated Dallas throughout the game and offensively, quarterback Cam Newton was able to do enough for the home opening victory. Carolina did suffer multiple injuries to some key figures so their depth moving forward will be tested.

Week 2: at Atlanta Falcons (0-1), 1:00pm

Carolina let an opportunity to win the division slip away in Atlanta last season, losing 22-10 to the Falcons. A victory here would put their divisional rival in the hole early for what is expected to be a tight divisional race.
