The Carolina Panthers continue to shape their roster.

Last Sunday the already banged up offensive line of the Carolina Panthers suffered another significant injury. The good news is that the front office has been working nonstop to ensure that there is an appropriate amount of depth at offensive tackle.

Earlier Wednesday morning the Carolina Panthers placed right tackle Daryl Williams on injured reserve and signed offensive tackle Chris Clark, formerly of the Texans and Broncos. Williams will undergo surgery to repair his knee and therefore, must miss eight games before he is eligible to return. The Panthers remain hopeful that he can return during the latter part of the season.

Here is everything you need to know about Clark.

Height: 6-foot-5

Weight: 305 pounds

NFL experience: Eight seasons (53 starts)

Clark, 32, went undrafted out of Southern Miss in 2008. He spent his first two seasons in the NFL on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad before he quickly established himself as a reliable offensive tackle in Denver. Clark played in 69 games (27 starts) over the course of five seasons with the Broncos.

In 2015, the Broncos traded Clark for a seventh-round pick (235 overall). Clark spent three years in Houston, Texas, where he started 26 of the 37 games he played in.

Clark has professional experience at both left and right tackle. His first two seasons with the Texans he played both tackles positions. Last season Clark started eight games at left tackle before an ankle injury cut his season short.

The  Carolina Panthers will likely continue using Taylor Moton at left tackle and have Amini Silatolu and Clark share the responsibilities at right tackle until Matt Kalil can return.
