Carolina Panthers fantasy football picks for Week 2
C.J. Anderson, RB
Running back C.J. Anderson rushed for over 1,000 yards last year as a member of the Denver Broncos and averaged five-yards per carry in the season opener. Behind only seven carries, his workload should increase versus the Falcons.
Given tight end Greg Olsen is sidelined with a fractured foot, the Panthers offense needs to replace his production and moving fellow running back Christian McCaffrey into a more slot-receiver role could be the answer.
Anderson may also see more action in goal line situations, especially following a McCaffrey fumble last week on the five-yard line.
