Rookie Donte Jackson recorded his first interception on a pass intended for Julio Jones but also allowed a touchdown and failed to show up in run support numerous times. Opposite James Bradberry, who did a nice job of containing Jones, the other members of Atlanta flourished.

Rookie wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught four passes for 64 yards and a touchdown, Hooper had the other score with five total catches and two other receivers caught passes to aid an Atlanta offense that had looked dismal in their season opener.

There is concern at safety after Da’Norris Searcy suffered his second concussion in a relatively short time period and is now expected to miss a significant amount of time.
