Week 2: Atlanta Falcons 31, Carolina Panthers 24

Atlanta rebounded from a poor opening week with a divisional victory over the Carolina Panthers. They have an opportunity to gain early control of the highly competitive NFC South division with another league opponent next week.

Week 3: vs. New Orleans Saints (1-1), 1:00pm

Both teams enter after winning their previous contest but the Saints need to avoid an 0-2 start to divisional play. Already losing to Tampa Bay, another loss to the Falcons would keep New Orleans on the bottom of the league for the time being.
