Panthers secondary vs. A.J. Green

I cannot wait to see this top matchup. The Carolina Panthers secondary will have their hands full trying to contain A.J. Green. He is on his way to having a tremendous year and the Panthers will try to stop him in his tracks.

Green has 161 yards and four touchdowns on the season already, halfway to his total from last year. In addition, he already has 10 catches for first downs. This year feels different for the former Georgia product as he and quarterback Andy Dalton seem to be in-sync. If those two are able to connect throughout the entire year, the rest of the National Football League is in trouble.

James Bradberry wants a piece of Green, although he may have to share those duties. Per a report from Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer covering Green may be something that has to be a team effort. Either way, it will be fun to watch Green against the Panthers secondary. It will be challenging but it should be something the Panthers can handle. Averaging 14.6 yards per catch, he can spread the field and make big plays at the drop of a hat. How they defend him and how they try to counteract his speed will make or break whether they win on Sunday.
