Quarterback: A

A week after throwing 45 passes, Cam Newton needed just 24 to dispose of the Bengals. Completing 15 for 150 yards and two touchdowns, Newton made good decisions in the pocket but was again hampered by multiple drops.

Not only did Newton make an impact through the air, but the Panthers quarterback also added 36 yards on the ground to finish second in rushing and added two more touchdowns. Responsible for four total scores, it was arguably Newton’s best performance to date.

Working behind a patchwork offensive line, Newton appears to be gaining confidence in those individuals filling certain roles, which should only improve during the bye week.
