Devin Funchess again led all receivers with four catches for 67 yards and added his first touchdown of the season. The four-yard, second quarter reception brightened his performance after struggling a bit early.

Veteran Torrey Smith and rookie tight end Ian Thomas also got involved, each contributing three catches for 20 and 19 yards, respectively. Rookie first-round wide receiver D.J. Moore played nearly one-half of the offensive snaps but continues to be a non-factor in the passing game with just one catch for three yards.

This group benefited from a productive day on the ground but needs to offer more consistency for Carolina to continue being competitive into the future.
