See how the Carolina Panthers defense performed against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3.

One week after allowing their first 100-yard ball carrier in over twenty games and 442 yards without registering a sack, the Carolina Panthers defense bounced back. As a group the unit forced Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton into four interceptions and limited the run game to just 66 yards.

Two new faces also enjoyed big games for Carolina in defensive end Efe Obada and rookie cornerback Donte Jackson. Obada registered a sack and interception while Jackson picked Dalton twice during the game.

A bright spot in the secondary, the Panthers back end failed to contain former second-round pick Tyler Boyd and tight end Tyler Eifert who combined for 12 catches, 206 yards and a touchdown. Although it was a solid win against a previously undefeated team, Carolina can’t expect to rely on turnovers into the future and must force more stops as a unit.
