Rookie Donte Jackson registered two interceptions a week after grabbing his first one against Atlanta. However, unlike his poor performance otherwise, Jackson rebounded against the Bengals and played well opposite James Bradberry.

Safety Colin Jones started for the injured Da’Norris Searcy but struggled at times in coverage. Carolina may want to look at signing a free agent safety in order to help fill the void on the Panthers back end.

Cornerback Captain Munnerlyn also saw a majority of defensive snaps, playing well in run support and pass coverage. Once Davis returns, how defensive coordinator Eric Washington elects to use Thompson and in turn, Munnerlyn will be worth watching.
