Christian McCaffrey

I honestly struggled with putting Christian McCaffrey at No. 2 on this list. The former Stanford product had a great day on the ground in what is seeming to become a habit for him.

McCaffrey rushed for 184 yards on 28 carries. He was a big part of a Carolina Panthers rushing for 230 total yards on the ground in an effort that saw many get in on the scoring action. On the season, CMC now has 271 rushing yards. That puts him third in the entire league behind Todd Gurley and Matt Breida. It seems as though he is adjusting to the workload that the Carolina Panthers wanted him to take on before the season started.

Not only is he adjusting, McCaffrey is thriving. He did not have at least 271 rushing yards last year until Week 13 against the New Orleans Saints. He eclipsed the number, ending the day with 285 yards on the afternoon. It remains to be seen whether or not he can keep this pace up, but you have to like the results so far. He has become more than just a running back which is exactly what I think the Panthers envisioned he would become.
