CAR vs. CIN – Final Overview

More from Cat Crave

The Charlotte Observer writer Jourdan Rodrigue (and somewhat immodestly- I) predicted the Panthers run defense would return to ‘normal’, meaning no 100-yard days, a bit of a shootout– she said 34-28, it was 31-21– that it might be a few games before Moore produces more, and Newton for two TD runs. Solid, believable stuff.

Alas, like many, she thought the Bengals defensive line would ‘get to eat again’, but its not even October, so plenty of time for offensive line to make believers. Everyone should be okay with how both sides of the ball are operating- fans clearly don’t need to worry about Jackson or McCaffrey.

Overall, seven different players have scored a total of nine touchdowns, so be patient if a favorite player hasn’t scored yet.  In two weeks, look for the defense’s reputation to be working against the Giants.
