Odell Beckham Jr. vs. the Carolina Panthers secondary

From Madden cover athlete to impact playmaker, there is not much that Odell Beckham  cannot do. He has become one of the game’s elite wideouts since he came into the league, and he has shown no signs of slowing down. To this point, he has recorded 4,755 yards and 38 touchdowns in his career.

At this point in the season, he already has two games of over 100 receiving yards. The first instance was in the season-opener against the Jaguars. In that game, he tallied 111 yards on 11 catches. The most recent occurrence came on September 23 when the Giants faced the Texans. He notched 109 yards on nine catches.

The Panther secondary is ready to face him. That much we know. What we do not know is which Manning s going to show up. Will it be the one who can get the ball to Beckham with ease? Will it be the Eli who struggles. I am thinking it will be the former rather than the latter and as a result, the Panthers should be ready for it. His athleticism and speed will present the Panthers’ secondary with a challenge,  This is where the addition of Eric Reid could come in handy and I suspect that if he is on the field, Odell could keep him busy.
