Start these Carolina Panthers in Week 5 to maximize your fantasy football scoring.

The Carolina Panthers are refreshed and healthy after an early season bye week and set to host the New York Giants at Bank of America Stadium. Through the first three games in 2018, there have been mixed results and inconsistencies but as the season progresses these should clear up, beginning on Sunday.

The defense has been a roller coaster ride of feast or famine, punishing Dallas in Week 1 before allowing the Atlanta Falcons almost free reign absent any pressure. Under new defensive coordinator Eric Washington, they continue to improve and the bye week addition of safety Eric Reid should help their cause.

Offensively, coordinator Norv Turner continues to tweak his unit and search for consistent playmakers behind a patchwork offensive line that has produced impressively to this point. A healthy Trai Turner in Week 5 should improve their chances.

Continue to see which Panthers you should start in order to gain bragging rights over your friends as they rack up the points this week.
