Cam Newton, QB

Quarterback Cam Newton has been one of the more consistent performers for Carolina this season and it should continue against the Giants. Protected by a returning starter up front and with two receivers back, Curtis Samuel and Damiere Byrd, the Panthers passing attack may be at full strength minus tight end Greg Olsen for the first time this season.

Newton has enjoyed a fair amount of success against New York, tossing eight touchdowns and just one interception during their last two meetings. He’s also continually being used to move the football on the ground and should continue that trend.

Fully rested, look for Newton to take advantage of both his new (Samuel) and returning (Byrd) offensive weapons with multiple down the field chances for big plays throughout the game.
