An Interception may be coming his way

This is perhaps the boldest prediction out of the three. Eric Reid will record an interception on Sunday. Given the talent the Carolina Panthers possess in the secondary, this may be a tough sell. However, it is not like we have not see a high level of play from him before.

In his career, Reid has notched 10 interceptions and the most he had in a season was four in 2013. That year, he made the Pro Bowl. Even in college, he had the reputation of being a ballhawk.  He recorded six interceptions in three seasons with the LSU Tigers. He had 104 interception return yards combined in those seasons.

Eli Manning has the tendency to overthrow his wideouts as he struggles with accuracy at times. Especially if the Panthers defensive line can being pressure, that will make Manning uncomfortable. Throughout the course of the game Reid should focus on keeping his eye up and spy the quarterback. If he can do that and stay focused on looking at Manning’s eyes and see where his initial read is, he will be able to snag his first pick as a Panther.
