The offensive line

To be completely honest with you, I never thought the offensive line would make this list at any point this season. However, they kept Cam Newton upright and let him work his magic as he led the Carolina Panthers down the field.

On Sunday, they only allowed one sack for a loss of five yards. This is pretty comparable to what they have been doing all season. With all of the turnover on the line due to injury, one would think the unit would be at the top of the league is sacks allowed. It is exactly the opposite. On the year, they are tied with Washington, the Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans, New England and Detroit for sacks allowed. They have only allowed six on the year, which given all things considered is very good.

If they can keep this level of production up, the worries about the offensive line will be all but a memory. The Redskins are tied at the bottom of the league with the New England Patriots with eight sacks. Point being, the offensive line should have a relatively easy game next Sunday.
