Running Back: 86, B

B- vs. Cowboys, C+ at Falcons, A+ vs. Bengals, B+ vs. Giants

Second-year running back Christian McCaffrey was expected to carry a majority of the workload entering 2018 and to this point he has. Whether on the ground or by air, McCaffrey has proven himself worthy of the high draft pick used to secure his services last year.

C.J. Anderson has also helped earning a high yards per carry average although he hasn’t received many opportunities. Serving as a change of pace back from the dynamic skill set of McCaffrey, Turner should utilize Anderson more moving forward.

Overall, the running back production has been solid minus a dismal performance against the Falcons where Carolina virtually abandoned trying to rush the football.
