Happens Every Year

Just as the Panthers typically improve their performance, it also seems despite the level of success or talent, there is always one bad game. In reality, it’s professional football and in the NFL every team is essentially a play or two away from a win or a loss each and every week.

Hopefully, this was the bad game for 2018 because other than the turnovers it was a fairly good performance. Newton completed 67-percent of his passes, his second highest of the season, and Carolina scored on every possession of the second half minus the final drive to get back into the game.

Last year it was at Chicago. In 2015, on the road in Atlanta. Back in 2013, inside the Superdome against New Orleans. Yet, Carolina finished  38-10 in those years combined, each with a playoff appearance.
