Control the Clock

Philadelphia has been solid against the run this season but Carolina needs to establish a ground game to stay competitive. The Eagles offense has been solid and the best way to keep quarterback Carson Wentz and his group from scoring is to keep them off the field.

Cam Newton has improved his accuracy numbers this season but incomplete passes that stop the clock only provide more time for Wentz and company to operate. The Panthers need to get running back Christian McCaffrey going and keep the clock moving while sustaining long, time consuming drives that result in points.

Coupled with creating turnovers and not giving away possessions, if Carolina has more opportunities on offense then they should leave Philadelphia with their first road win of the season.
