Greg Olsen

Greg Olsen deserves to be on this list plain and simple. Although his statistics are not going to “Wow” you, there is little doubt he made an impact in Sunday’s game. Furthermore, he showed that he is slowly but surely working his way back into the fold.

Olsen caught two passes for five yards. Targeted five times, a four-yard snatch was his longest of the afternoon. Again, it does not sound like much at all. However, he managed to catch the game-winning touchdown pass and in turn, the Cam Newton-Olsen connection felt like the days of old. It was good to see him back out there on the field again doing what he is best known for. The Panthers passing attack was already strong, and once he gets healthy, the rest of the National Football League should watch out.

I can’t wait to see how he progresses as the year goes on. The Panthers offense is already strong. Anything Olsen can add to it is a bonus. Today was a huge first step for him and he made his chances count.
