Graham Gano will have a day

Some of you are probably laughing and thinking “Why did a kicker make the top spot on this list?” Just as he has for the majority of his career, Graham Gano will make a huge impact on Sunday.

I have a feeling that this is going to be a game of field position. With the way Baltimore’s defensive line has been playing lately, Carolina may not reach the end zone many times. As a result, the Panthers may have to kick field goals more often than they would like. Gano certainly has the leg for it. Not only that, he will be looking to bounce back from a rough game last week. He went 1-2 on extra points and attempted no field goals. That was certainly a very uncharacteristic game for the kicker.

Given the way Baltimore’s defense has been playing, points will be hard to come by as it is. However, Gano should be able to make an impact, and I predict he will go at least 3-3 on field goals. In addition, I see one extra point in his future. This is his time to bounce back, and I fully believe he will do it. In a game where points will probably be at a premium, he needs to come through.
