Week 8: BYE

Atlanta improved their divisional standing without having to play a game thanks to an earlier victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rested and regrouped following the bye, the Falcons face a stiff challenge on the road in Washington.

Week 9: at Washington Redskins (5-2), 1:00pm

Washington continues to impress, winning three straight and looking to contend with reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia for a divisional title. A win over Atlanta would be a big boost for them ahead of four winnable weeks prior to their first meeting with the Eagles.
