Quarterback Cam Newton has been playing at an MVP level all season and his most recent performances have only provided further evidence of that fact. Through eight games, Newton has passed for 1,893 yards and 15 touchdowns while completing a career high 67-percent of his passes.

The new quick-read designs and his ability to forego the deep ball for shorter, check-down routes developed by coordinator Norv Turner have dramatically improved his proficiency. As Turner continues to elaborate on the playbook moving forward, expect more of the same from Newton.

On the ground, the Panthers quarterback has always been a weapon and 2018 is proving no different. He has carried the football 73 times for 342 yards with four touchdowns.
