Carolina Panthers fans need to keep an eye on these Week 10 games
What to watch in Week 10 since the Carolina Panthers have already played had a game.
The Carolina Panthers kicked off Week 10 in Pittsburgh against the Steelers and promptly endured their worse loss of the season. After a hot start, the Carolina defensive performance was summed up in the first play from scrimmage – a 75 yard touchdown strike from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
A prompt turnover on offense ended as a pick-six and the rout was on in the Steel City. Pittsburgh scored on every first half possession, minus running out the clock to end a disastrous 30-minutes for the Panthers. A disappointing performance to say the least.
The Panthers now have a “mini-bye” and with no game on Sunday, it leaves fans with little to watch. Or does it? Carolina is 6-3 and even though they won’t be in action, there are still at least three key games for fans to pay attention to on Sunday.
Atlanta Falcons (4-4) at Cleveland Browns (2-6-1), 1:00pm EST

The Atlanta Falcons trailed Carolina by two games entering Week 10 but if they win on Sunday, that deficit shrinks to one. After a dismal start to the year, losing four of their first five, the Falcons have won three straight and are likely to continue the current streak against a Browns team that has already fired their coach.
Detroit Lions (3-5) at Chicago Bears (5-3), 1:00pm EST
Reasons for paying attention to this NFC North matchup are two-fold. The obvious revolves around Carolina traveling to face Detroit in their own game next week and the other has playoff implications. Currently, Chicago leads their division but a loss would put Minnesota (bye week) on top – the Panthers need to maintain a better record than both as the Vikings currently own the second wild card position.
New Orleans Saints (7-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (5-3), 1:00pm
After the Panthers loss, if New Orleans is victorious then their divisional lead swells to two games. Plenty of time remains to catch the Saints, especially with two games against them, but after beating the only undefeated team in the NFL last week, they haven’t shown signs of slowing down anytime soon.
The results of these three games will either help heal the sting of defeat or rub salt into the wound for Panthers fans this week.
