Dry and motivated

Although the suggestion by Carolina beat writer Max Henson that the Panthers might just burn the tape of Steelers game, getting your head handed to you for most of sixty minutes and spending  the week under ugly weather conditions outside in Charlotte – Funchess is right in stating that everyone will be faster inside on the Lions carpet.

There is no doubt that the Panthers offense can do plenty of damage, everyone saw that against the Baltimore Ravens, albeit at home. If all Eric Washington did the last couple days of practice was put his charges in the proverbial cage and poke them with a stick before the game (that is certainly against the NFLPA contract), an angry pass rush is the best weapon to blunt the Lions offense, with the bonus of turning three-and-outs into additional chances for the Panthers offense to produce.
