Other than the Carolina Panthers, fans should keep an eye on these Week 11 games.

The Carolina Panthers have their own business to handle when they visit the Detroit Lions on Sunday, but fans should watch for the outcomes of these other contests as it relates to the playoffs.

Carolina cannot move up or down in their current standing this week, regardless of any outcome but they can position themselves for a better opportunity with a win and some favorable results elsewhere. Of course, NFC South competitors, New Orleans and Atlanta find themselves onto the list but there is another game that is important as well.

The Thursday night results, Seattle Seahawks defeated Green Bay, creating a log jam in the middle of the NFC. Nearly half the conference, seven teams, find themselves with a legitimate chance at a divisional title or wild card with only seven games remaining. The current wildcard leaders are Carolina and Minnesota, by virtue of a tie, which Panthers fans can relate (2014) to as being critical in terms of gaining an advantage late in the season.
