Minnesota Vikings (5-3-1) at Chicago Bears (6-3), 8:20pm
The other critical game in terms of the playoff picture involves an NFC North showdown on Sunday night. The Vikings tie with Green Bay earlier in the season has them ahead of the pack and currently in the second wildcard position, with Carolina.
A win over Chicago would also give them the division lead by virtue of the same tie and push Chicago down into the mix. Panthers fans should be pulling for the Bears to maintain their lead, keeping Minnesota and Carolina in place – and an even tighter grip on the current playoff picture with a Panthers win.
Carolina at Detroit is most important but a win and Bears victory would provide a two game cushion on the wildcard for the Panthers.
