Mario Addison will have two sacks

Mario Addison should have a big day. After playing only 38 snaps last week, he is due for a big performance. The pass rusher has 7.5 sacks on the year, and he will be looking to add to that total on Sunday.

In the team’s prior game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Addison had three sacks on the afternoon. It was his highest in-game total of the season. In addition, his 84.8 pass rush rating per statistics from Pro Football Focus was his highest of the season. It was just another great performance from a player who has been a model of consistency since he entered the league. He is going up against a Detroit offensive line that has given up 29 sacks on the year and has lost 181 yards as a result.

I can see him having another monster game here. Essentially, he has had two weeks to recharge himself. With the performances he has put up for the majority of the season, I would expect another big one to come on Sunday. He has the talent and size to be a major disruption to the Detroit offense. I predict he will require at least two sacks, and be part of the reason why Carolina comes out with the victory on Sunday.
